Mimi went to VCA Barcroft Cat Hospital this morning to have her lump removed. She seems to be okay but REALLY grumpy. I want her to be all better. She's wearing a funny-looking collar and has a shaved belly with stitches.
My big sister, Mimi the Wonder-Himi, has been diagnosed with a tumor in her mammary glands. She is awaiting test results before surgery can be scheduled. I'm really worried because she's my best buddy and I won't be able to play with her while she's recuperating. Mommy says she may need some chemotherapy too. I am keeping my paws crossed that it won't be necessary and that she gets all better soon.
I was soooooo excited as my Mommy strapped me into my new ferret vest. It's a lot nicer than a collar or harness and fits my tiny body better. Then she put me on the ground so I could check out the catnip and flowers but there were some really loud noises coming from nearby lawnmowers and I got pretty scared. Climbed the trim on the front door trying to get back inside. I'm thinking it's just better to stay inside so, while I'll greet my Mommy at the door, I'm happy to stay indoors, thank you very much.
![]() Did you check out my new Paw of Approval downloadable seal on my home page? If you qualify, you can now proudly display a picture of me swiping my benevolent paw at you. Ask me to review your site so I can check out your goods and content. I do not endorse sites that feature naughty, mean or illegal stuff, so please don't ask me to and don't use my seal for such things. Please play nice! Spring seems to be coming. At least that's what everyone calls it. It's my first one so I'm pretty excited. Seems like there's a lot going on outside of my favorite window. New birds, people doing things, and pretty flowers. I'm going for a walk on a leash this weekend!

About Molly-CoolMolly-Cool is a calico babe who was abandoned on a road in the middle of nowhere in August 2012. Mewing piteously in 100+ degree heat, she was picked up by a kind man whose wife knew her Mommy. She was only 3 weeks old and the vet didn't think she'd make it because she wouldn't drink kitten milk supplements. She napped on a laptop to keep warm, licked a little Greek lemon yogurt from her Mommy's finger and guzzled a special nutrition paste from a tube like there was no tomorrow. After a few tense days in a house full of big cats, Mimi, a tiny Himalyan beauty, became her protector, teacher and constant companion. Named Molly because she was "unsinkable," she remade herself into Molly-Cool through her antics and spunky personality quirks. She's now top diva in a house with 3 other lady cats. We will celebrate her first birthday on July 15th. Archives
