Swipes of the benevolent paw have gone to Danielle Hanson, Jay Trolinger, Jillian Morris, and Helen Klebesadel this week. Check them out at Artsy Swipes
I've just added four new artists to my Artsy Swipes: Weavingmajor, Jade Gordon, Catru, and Spellstone. Each has distinctive designs that merit further consideration. Check out all my favs.
I've added a new section to my site to feature some of my favorite artists on Spoonflower. I call it my Artsy-Swipes page, since many of the Spoonflower artists that I feature also have other artwork available from various venues. There are so many favorites and I can only do a few at a time, so this area will be growing with a few new highlights weekly. Links to all mommy's favorite artists and favorite designs are at the bottom of the page.
Molly-Cool is a calico babe who was abandoned on a road in the middle of nowhere in August 2012. Mewing piteously in 100+ degree heat, she was picked up by a kind man whose wife knew her Mommy. She was only 3 weeks old and the vet didn't think she'd make it because she wouldn't drink kitten milk supplements. She napped on a laptop to keep warm, licked a little Greek lemon yogurt from her Mommy's finger and guzzled a special nutrition paste from a tube like there was no tomorrow. After a few tense days in a house full of big cats, Mimi, a tiny Himalyan beauty, became her protector, teacher and constant companion. Named Molly because she was "unsinkable," she remade herself into Molly-Cool through her antics and spunky personality quirks. She's now top diva in a house with 3 other lady cats. We will celebrate her first birthday on July 15th.
