Mimi is not going to get better :-( We are keeping her comfortable with a low dose painkiller and antibiotics, lots of love, and plenty of her favorite foods and water. She's slowing down though and needs to sleep a lot. As long as she's able to purr, we know she's still feeling good enough to enjoy what she does. Keeping our paws crossed that the rainbow bridge will be an easy crossing for her but we're not ready to say goodbye yet.

About Molly-CoolMolly-Cool is a calico babe who was abandoned on a road in the middle of nowhere in August 2012. Mewing piteously in 100+ degree heat, she was picked up by a kind man whose wife knew her Mommy. She was only 3 weeks old and the vet didn't think she'd make it because she wouldn't drink kitten milk supplements. She napped on a laptop to keep warm, licked a little Greek lemon yogurt from her Mommy's finger and guzzled a special nutrition paste from a tube like there was no tomorrow. After a few tense days in a house full of big cats, Mimi, a tiny Himalyan beauty, became her protector, teacher and constant companion. Named Molly because she was "unsinkable," she remade herself into Molly-Cool through her antics and spunky personality quirks. She's now top diva in a house with 3 other lady cats. We will celebrate her first birthday on July 15th. Archives
