We had a big scare this week. Mimi went to visit the vet and they found a large bump near her surgery scar so they had to test it to see if the cancer came back. Great news! It was just a little bit of infection so they shot her up with a 14 day antibiotic so Mommy won't have to try to force an antibiotic down her throat daily and she was able to get her chemo yesterday. Mimi's doing great. Eating the best Fancy Feast appetizers and filet mignon. I'm not complaining - she lets me eat with her at the same time. It's good to be the kitten.

About Molly-CoolMolly-Cool is a calico babe who was abandoned on a road in the middle of nowhere in August 2012. Mewing piteously in 100+ degree heat, she was picked up by a kind man whose wife knew her Mommy. She was only 3 weeks old and the vet didn't think she'd make it because she wouldn't drink kitten milk supplements. She napped on a laptop to keep warm, licked a little Greek lemon yogurt from her Mommy's finger and guzzled a special nutrition paste from a tube like there was no tomorrow. After a few tense days in a house full of big cats, Mimi, a tiny Himalyan beauty, became her protector, teacher and constant companion. Named Molly because she was "unsinkable," she remade herself into Molly-Cool through her antics and spunky personality quirks. She's now top diva in a house with 3 other lady cats. We will celebrate her first birthday on July 15th. Archives
