The tumors grew very fast after a single month on chemo 3. Vet said we could give up or try one more very different chemo for which their was no information on how cats with breast cancer responded. How could we give up with one more hope? So Mimi started yesterday on a very potent drug that has to be administered by IV weekly. Cross your paws. We'll know next week if it has an impact. She's been hungry and playful today.

About Molly-CoolMolly-Cool is a calico babe who was abandoned on a road in the middle of nowhere in August 2012. Mewing piteously in 100+ degree heat, she was picked up by a kind man whose wife knew her Mommy. She was only 3 weeks old and the vet didn't think she'd make it because she wouldn't drink kitten milk supplements. She napped on a laptop to keep warm, licked a little Greek lemon yogurt from her Mommy's finger and guzzled a special nutrition paste from a tube like there was no tomorrow. After a few tense days in a house full of big cats, Mimi, a tiny Himalyan beauty, became her protector, teacher and constant companion. Named Molly because she was "unsinkable," she remade herself into Molly-Cool through her antics and spunky personality quirks. She's now top diva in a house with 3 other lady cats. We will celebrate her first birthday on July 15th. Archives
