The good news is Mimi is over 5 pounds (she was barely 4 last year). She's pretty healthy and feisty and as usual sleeps a lot and purrs plenty. The bad news is the tumors started to grow again so she's on her 3rd kind of chemo. We're hoping to shock and awe. Mommy lets her have all the fresh home-grown catnip she wants. She also had an antibiotic shot to help with her little sniffles and deal with the chemo's side effect of suppressed immunity. Prognosis isn't good in the long run but we aren't giving up.

I've found this site to be really helpful for every cat I've lost. Comments are closed.

About Molly-CoolMolly-Cool is a calico babe who was abandoned on a road in the middle of nowhere in August 2012. Mewing piteously in 100+ degree heat, she was picked up by a kind man whose wife knew her Mommy. She was only 3 weeks old and the vet didn't think she'd make it because she wouldn't drink kitten milk supplements. She napped on a laptop to keep warm, licked a little Greek lemon yogurt from her Mommy's finger and guzzled a special nutrition paste from a tube like there was no tomorrow. After a few tense days in a house full of big cats, Mimi, a tiny Himalyan beauty, became her protector, teacher and constant companion. Named Molly because she was "unsinkable," she remade herself into Molly-Cool through her antics and spunky personality quirks. She's now top diva in a house with 3 other lady cats. We will celebrate her first birthday on July 15th. Archives
